Challenger/Rosen's® Career
Comprehensive Reference, Review, and Assessment for Practicing Emergency Physicians

Recall, Reinforcement, and Retention of Learning
Challenger has the solution to your learning and testing needs...
Practicing professionals learn in different ways. Some may read an article once and recall the content without effort; that is a rare talent, much like having perfect musical pitch or a knack for picking up languages. As a result, most learners use repetition and memorization to retain new information. Challenger has built a testing and training system based on a formal version of this approach called programmed learning. However, another segment of professionals learn in a different manner. They combine exposure to challenging questions and answers with use of a reference resource. Challenger/Rosen's® Career specifically addresses the learning requirements of this substantial professional audience.

Challenger/Rosen's® Career integrates our proven 100-year-old programmed learning methodology with a gold standard reference resource for emergency physicians, the 6th edition of Rosen's Emergency Medicine. It goes beyond being a source for test preparation and CME. It is much more than a collection of state-of-the-art images and case-based Q&A. Challenger/Rosen's® Career is the ideal resource to prepare you for your testing needs, enhance your knowledge of the standard of care and current practices, and ensure you will retain what you learn.
Compare our 99% Success Rate
To a 24% failure rate in the specialty overall...

As the specialty and the whole certification process shift toward evidence-based medicine, Challenger's peer-reviewed training and review content will keep you current while preparing you for all your testing requirements.
Boards Simulations

For some it's been ten years since you last tested. A lot can happen in a decade. Challenger's board simulations can help. Our board simulations offer 200 boards–style questions and answers covering key topics in emergency medicine. Divided into smaller modules, you can take these tests in between patients or in the comfort of your own home. Know what to expect before you walk through the door on exam day.

"After Hurricane Katrina, we ended up being the sole provider for the city of New Orleans's emergency care. All of our resources for in-service and training were destroyed, so it was an enormous relief to learn that Challenger would replace their materials for us free of charge! This program is such a high-yield study and can really make a difference for us....Thanks so much again for all that Challenger is doing...."
    --David Ulick, MD

    Charity Hospital
    New Orleans, Louisiana

"I used the MD Challenger series (I still have the floppies if you can believe that) when I initially took my boards in 1994 and it was the only study guide I used. It was fabulous. I am looking forward to seeing how things have advanced as I prepare for my recertification boards."
    --Sharolyn Rhees Medina, MD

"I used the On-Line Course. I found it very useful and relevant. I have a fairly busy life, with work, 3 kids, and a husband who travels, so needless to say the flexibility of your program was perfect for me. I received my Board Score this week and passed successfully, and basically the only program I used was yours and one other Test Booklet."
    --Mary Engrav, MD

"I use a variety of medical software, this is unequivocally the best."
    --M. Dallas, MD

"One-third the cost of most live board review courses, but more effective."
    --Anthony Russo, MD

    "I love this program!"
    --Mark Harding, MD
