University of Florida at Jacksonville Selects Challenger Program for ResidenciesTM

Memphis, TN 03/07/05 - Challenger Corporation announced today that it had been selected by the University of Florida at Jacksonville to provide training content and management information reporting for the emergency medicine residency at the hospital. The Department of Emergency medicine trains 50 residents in the specialty of emergency medicine. With this selection, Challenger is now the provider of online resident educational training and performance evaluation systems for eleven prominent emergency medicine residency programs, as well as fifteen other programs in family or general medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, and the training of physician assistants.

According to Mark McIntosh, MD, FACEP, Director of Medical Education at the Jacksonville campus:

We at the University of Florida - Jacksonville are looking forward to incorporating the Challenger Program for ResidenciesTM into our curriculum. The extensive library of visual and written resources provided by Challenger will provide our Emergency Medicine Residents and Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellows with the hi-tech tools essential for maximizing their educational opportunities. The program will help our residents develop the lifelong learning skills and disciplines needed to succeed in our profession.
