Memphis, Tenn. 01/23/03 - Challenger Corporation (www.challengercorporation.com) announced today that the Center for Personalized Education (CPEP) in Aurora, Colorado has selected Challenger to design and provide a comprehensive online component for CPEP's physician assessment program. The program, which will offer content from Challenger's own branded content library, is believed to be the most extensive of its kind in the United States. The testing will be one component of a more extensive multi-disciplinary assessment process. Financial details are confidential.
As a national leader in post-licensure evaluation and education for physicians, CPEP is contracted by a variety of organizations to conduct a range of assessment programs for physicians. CPEP sees physicians for a variety of reasons that include license transfers from state-to-state and also testing of physicians who have a suspended or revoked license. Other physician clients participate in CPEP programs for assessment related to reentry into clinical medicine; evaluation of competence after reported concerns about patient outcome(s); applications to switch specialties. Challenger owns the world's largest clinical content library, from which the medical leadership of CPEP will select specific test items to be used in its physician evaluations. Challenger will also provide online technology for verifying test completion and performance standards for enrolled physicians. Through the testing process, CPEP identifies specific areas of need for each participant and develop structured educational experiences to address those needs.
