- symptoms of high-output cardiac failure due to
cutaneous vasodilation
- fever, malaise, and lymphadenopathy
- diffuse erythroderma, pruritus, and exfoliation
- loss of hair and nails
- gastrointestinal tract involvement
- splenomegaly (especially with lymphoma or
leukemia)
- protein-wasting nephropathy due to
rhabdomyolysis
