eResidency is a comprehensive Web-based residency management software that is compatible
with both PC and Mac systems. eResidency was founded and created by physician entrepreneur
Dr. Rick Kulkarni, MD, in 2001 during his tenure as the Chief Resident at the Harvard
Medical School's Emergency Medicine Residency. Dr. Kulkarni is considered a leading
expert in online medical training management systems. In 2006, Dr. Kulkarni was
appointed Medical Director of the Adult Emergency Department at Yale-New Haven Hospital,
and Challenger Corporation acquired the eResidency package.
Challenger is committed to making eResidency, the only commercial RMS system
developed by a physician for physicians, the most valid and flexible tool possible.
Since the acquisition, we have steadily been adding features--such as Duty Hours,
IRIS Billing, Netscape compatibility, and others--to make sure that this objective
is met.
Programs will soon be able to manage their residency using eResidency and assign
Challenger Program for Residencies curricula and testing using one platform.
eResidency can be purchased as part of the Challenger
Program for Residencies or as a standalone service.
