And Into The Future
Designed to Address Multiple Needs Challenger/Creasy
Resnik® contains the complete, 61-chapter,
Maternal-Fetal Medicine text in electronic form,
integrated with the most recent version of our Med-Challenger
OBGYN, the best clinical review and interactive
self-assessment tool on the market for obstetricians,
gynecologists and clinicians involved in Maternal-Fetal
Medicine.
Use of Challenger/Creasy
Resnik® can improve and broaden the OB
generalist's understanding and knowledge to help them broaden
their practice scope and co-management skills. By learning
more maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) principles, OBs can get
more involved in MFM patients and overall become more skilled
obstetricians.
Conversely, an MFM who mainly just
spends time reading and learning about their area of
expertise, MFM, will have lost general GYN and other clinical
expertise over time. So, with a generalist's review, such as
Med-Challenger OBGYN, included, specialists can review
a broad spectrum of up-to-date principles in the field from
time to time. It's a bridge to a more complete practice.
Besides being an invaluable reference and review
resource for every aspect of maternal-fetal medicine,
obstetrics, and gynecology, this
product offers up to 320 AMA category 1 CME credits through
challenging knowledge assessments! What's more—the new Challenger/Creasy Resnik®
includes newly revised sections on genetics and prenatal diagnostic screening as well as new chapters covering a
variety of areas in obstetrics and gynecology.
All this, on one CD-ROM
and/or Internet account.>
Challenger/Creasy
Resnik® provides the resources and functionality
you need in one, cost-effective, easy-to-use, go-anywhere
package. It's one elegant tool for multiple uses. Get your

Fast Navigation in an Interactive Environment The Challenger
Interactive Viewer (CIV) environment integrates all content
and dynamic testing functionality in a clear, point-and-learn,
format. The review progression is designed to allow quick
navigation while providing a step-by-step structure to enhance
learning and retention. Read, view, absorb, and retain
material at your own pace.
Unlike most
clinical review software programs where navigation is hard to
find or confusing, navigating through Challenger courses,
sections, and topics is a breeze thanks to Challenger's
Interactive Viewer (CIV). Quickly jump to your area of
interest, topic to sub-topic, in a straightforward outline
form.
Find what
you need, fast. The CIV is graphically laid out to provide
large, on-screen selections for fast, easy navigation. Entry
into each content section opens the Interactive Viewer
Window where content is displayed. Topics list neatly down
one side. Want to switch topics? Just click the topic title in
the list. Practice, Review and
Assessment groups line the top of the window for multiple
content review options. To return to the main table of
contents, simply close the window or select the central home
button.

Practice, Review, Assess, and
Score! The Challenger review process is elegantly
designed to promote the highest level of retention possible.
Questions are written by clinical experts to emulate clinical
examination standards and to enhance knowledge of current best
practices. Questions appear in various forms - single answer,
multiple answer, matching, etc.. Whether you are seeking to
acquire continuing medical education credits, preparing for an
examination or re-affirming your knowledge, our review and
testing structure will help.
Our three step - Practice,
Review, Assess - progression incorporates a proven educational
regime called programmed learning. At the start of
each topic chapter, three groups are displayed. Each group's
content is formatted for a specific function and usage. You
can toggle from group to group as you wish, allowing for a more
personalized flow of study.

control. Save your scores from wherever you are in the
course. Work in one topic in the morning, then jump to

lecture circuit with Challenger products, so your valuable
review time is used at your discretion.

| Target
Audience Challenger/Creasy Resnik® is
intended for practitioners of Gynecology and Obstetrics or
clinicians otherwise involved in the diagnosis and treatment
of acute or emergent medical problems related to women's
health.
Educational Objectives The objective
of Challenger/Creasy Resnik® is to provide an
interactive review of the knowledge base of primary and
emergency care in gynecology and obstetrics. After completing
this course, the participating clinician should be better
equipped to:
- Confidently manage the broad spectrum of acute and
emergent medical problems encountered in the practice of
OBGYN primary care and emergency medicine.
- Formulate appropriate differential diagnoses for
patients presenting with acute medical problems of uncertain
etiology.
- Efficiently initiate therapeutic and diagnostic
procedures for patients presenting with acute medical
disorders.
- Cope effectively with the uncertainty that is inherent
in the initial treatment of acute and emergent disorders,
effectively stabilizing critical patients while refining the
differential diagnosis.
- Handle efficiently the spectrum of common disorders
involving all OBGYN systems. In particular, the physician
will be better equipped to resuscitate seriously ill
patients and to diagnose and treat conditions relating to:
Primary Care and Preventative Care for Women, Reproductive
Endocrinology, Infertility and Menopause, General
Gynecology, Urogynecology, General Obstetrics, Maternal
Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, Surgery, and
Pathology.
- Demonstrate mastery of the knowledge and cognitive
skills required to achieve objectives 1-5 by scoring at
least 80% on all topics studied for CME
credit.
