Challenger
Cesarean Delivery is a multimedia educational resource
that teaches the principles and techniques of performing and

the procedure must ultimately be taught in the operating room,

are the most versatile and easiest to use. If you're one of
the thousands of physicians seeking clinical review, CME
credit hours, or a quick and modern clinical reference
resource, wouldn't you like a tool to fulfill all your needs?
Look no further. Challenger Cesarean Delivery contains
a video covering all aspects of cesarean deliveries and a
CD-ROM with Q & A assessing your comprehension and
retention of the material in one, cost-effective, easy-to-use
package.
Your
Clinical Content Comprehensive Resource
Challenger
Cesarean Delivery includes a 58-minute VHS video, narrated
by Mark Deutchman, MD, covering the steps of cesarean
delivery, major technique variations, tubal ligation, and
instruments. A printed monograph and interactive CD-ROM
accompany the video.
Challenger Cesarean
Delivery consists of state-of-the-art clinical information
in both the video presentation and the monograph; its 7 chapters cover 33 essential topics in
cesarean delivery. Every physician practicing in a primary or
acute care setting is an odds-on favorite to encounter
complicated, if not life-threatening, obstetrical problems,
some of which require surgical delivery. Physicians practicing
in rural or underserved medical areas where they, for all
practical purposes, serve as the local providers of women's
health care, will find the program of unparalleled value. The
50 Questions and Answers included on the CD-ROM will enhance
your mastery of the subject and allow you to earn up to 6 AMA Category 1 CME
credits from the University of Colorado School of
Medicine.

Practice, Review, Assess, and
Score! The Challenger learning methodology is elegantly
designed to promote the highest level of retention possible.
Questions are written by clinical experts to emulate clinical
examination standards and to enhance knowledge of current best
practices. Whether you are seeking to acquire continuing
medical education credits, preparing for an examination or
re-affirming your knowledge, our review and testing structure
will help.
Our three step - Practice, Review, Assess -
progression incorporates a proven educational regime called
programmed learning. At the start of each topic
chapter of the interactive CME quiz, three tabs are displayed.
Each tab's content is formatted for a specific function and
use. You can toggle from tab to tab as you wish, allowing for
a more personalized flow of study.
The "Practice" tab
- The test run. Answer each question in a section and receive
pop up feedback and remediation. Limited tries keep the
session honest. Correct and incorrect indicators appear next
to your selected answers. All answers are revealed when all
tries are exhausted.
The "Review" tab
- The study guide. The Review section presents the questions
in the order seen in the Practice section, but with all
answers and remediation displayed. Terminology in this
section is linked to definitions from Dorland's Medical
Dictionary. Once your review is finished, you may
either re-enter the Practice section or proceed to the
Assessment.
The "Assessment" - The scored test. One or more
assessments will be available for each topic. Questions seen
in the Practice view will display in random order. At the end
of each assessment your responses are scored and a detailed
breakdown displayed.
The scoring
report indicates correct answers and incorrect answers
given for each question. These scores, if the required score
is met, can be sent to Challenger Corporation for fast CME certificate fulfillment.

Internet-Based Search Engine
Whether you are looking for a specific topic, collection of images,
or specific phrase, Challenger's Internet-based search engine allows you to locate references in seconds. Best of all, you can launch right into the clinical section you wish to see. With this
searchable, point-of-care reference, not only will you have immediate access to the latest developments in your specialty, you will also save time by identifying the specific information you need when you need it.
Fast
Navigation in an Interactive Environment The Challenger
Interactive Viewer (CIV) environment integrates all content
and dynamic testing functionality in a clear, point-and-learn
format. The review progression in the interactive CME quiz is
designed to allow quick navigation while providing a
step-by-step structure to enhance learning and retention.
Read, view, absorb, and retain material at your own pace.
Unlike most
clinical review software programs where navigation is hard to
use or confusing, navigating through Challenger courses,
sections, and topics is a breeze thanks to Challenger's
Interactive Viewer (CIV). Quickly jump to your area of
interest, topic to sub-topic, in a straightforward outline
form.
Find what
you need, fast. The CIV is graphically laid out to provide
large, on-screen selections for fast, easy navigation. Entry
into each content section opens the Interactive Viewer
Window where content is displayed. Topics list neatly down
one side. Want to switch topics? Just click the topic title in
the list. Practice, Review and
Assessment tabs line the top of the window for multiple
content review options. To return to the main table of
contents, simply close the window or select the central home
button.
